Thanks, the story is very clear, but I think that swift never will compete with c++, rust, zig and so on because it always seen joined to the Apple world and it’s impossible remove that only introducing some features in the language. Also myself that use swift to develop iOS app I don’t write simple rest server in swift but I use go. I also tried to use swift embedded, but for now I don’t see real reason to leaves on the embedded devices c/c++ for swift, a part that it’s a very early stage.
